Since November 2012, there has been no updated data on drone strikes in Afghanistan because the U.S. air force have stopped reporting them. There is still updated data on drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia, including the number of civilians killed, but the same does not count for Afghanistan. No one knows how many Afghan civilians have been killed by drones, perhaps because Afghan lives are deemed less important. What we do know, however, is that between 2009 and 2012, 1,273 drone strikes were launched in Afghanistan. This means that in just three years, the Coalition have launched three times more drone strikes in Afghanistan than the 386 drone strikes the CIA have carried out in neighboring Pakistan for the past ten years.
